Sell It Forward
Privacy Policy

This explains what personal data we collect when a business owner joins the Sell It Forward movement through this page, why, who sees it, and what you can ask us to do with it. It is written to comply with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012.
Who we are
Sell It Forward is a movement run by Sell Right, which provides sales mentorship and coaching in Singapore and operates sellrightasia.com and forward.sellrightasia.com. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean Sell Right.

What we collect
- When you fill in the form. Your name and role, your business name and website or Instagram, your mobile number and email, what your business sells, how you would like to help, anything else you tell us, and how you heard about us.
- When we speak with you. Notes from our conversations about how your business will take part.
- When you contact us directly. Your contact details and the content of your message.
The "Fold a plane" box on the page is not part of this: what you type there stays in your browser and is never recorded, saved or sent. We do not run advertising trackers, analytics or cookies of our own on this page. The page loads its fonts from Google Fonts.
Why we use it
- To reply to you and arrange a conversation about taking part.
- To contact you by WhatsApp, phone or email about Sell It Forward, including bazaars and other activities you said you would like to help with.
Your consent, and taking it back
By sending the form and ticking the consent box, you agree to us using your personal data for the purposes above. You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing or messaging us. We will then stop using your data and delete it, unless a legal reason requires us to keep part of it.
Who else sees it
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.
- Children's Homes and partner organisations. We only share your business contact details with a Home or organisation running a Sell It Forward activity after we have spoken with you and you have agreed.
- Service providers. Form entries are stored in Google Workspace (Google Sheets), and we use standard business email, WhatsApp and video-call services to stay in touch with you. Data passes through these providers only so we can run the movement.
Some of these providers store data outside Singapore. Where personal data is transferred overseas, we take reasonable steps to make sure it is protected to a standard comparable to the PDPA.
How long we keep it
We keep your details for as long as you are taking part, or while there is a reasonable chance of a future activity you would want to join, and then delete them. You can ask us to delete your details sooner at any time.
Keeping it secure
Form entries go into a private spreadsheet that only Sell Right can open. We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise. If a data breach occurs that is likely to cause significant harm, we will notify the people affected and the Personal Data Protection Commission, as the PDPA requires.
Your rights
Under the PDPA you can ask us to:
- Tell you what personal data we hold about you, and how it has been used in the past year.
- Correct anything that is wrong or incomplete.
- Delete data we no longer have a reason to keep.

Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed, and the current version always lives at this address.
